The minimum we need. Nothing sold.
This Privacy Policy explains how TP Enterprises ("Foretold," "we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and shares personal information when you use foretold.studio (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy. It is incorporated into our Terms & Conditions.
We built Foretold to respect you. In plain terms:
(The sections below are the formal detail behind these promises. This is a deliberate contrast to the data-monetizing norm in this category — please keep it accurate.)
TP Enterprises is the controller of your personal information. You can reach us at privacy@foretold.studio.
a. Account information. Your email address and, if you sign in with Google or Apple, basic profile identifiers from that provider.
b. Birth and reading details ("Reading Data"). The name, birth date, birth time, and birth place you enter (for yourself or, with their consent, another person), your questions, the methods you choose, and the readings generated. Some of this — for example, information that may reveal beliefs, relationships, or similar matters — may be considered sensitive personal information under certain laws (see Section 10). We use it only to provide the Service.
c. Purchase information. Records of your purchases, credits, and subscription status. Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not receive or store your full payment-card number.
d. Device and usage information. IP address, general (city-level) location, device and browser type, and the pages or features you use, collected through server logs and privacy-respecting analytics. We do not use advertising identifiers or build advertising profiles.
e. Communications. Messages you send us (for example, support requests).
How we collect it. Directly from you (what you enter), automatically in a limited way (see Section 6), and from our providers (sign-in and payment processing).
We use personal information to: provide and personalize your readings; create and secure your account; process payments and prevent fraud; provide customer support; operate, maintain, and improve the Service; send you service messages and, where permitted, occasional marketing messages you can opt out of at any time; and comply with law and enforce our Terms.
We do not use your information for third-party advertising or to build advertising profiles, and we do not use your identifiable birth details or questions to train AI models. We may use de-identified, aggregated information (from which personal identifiers have been removed) to analyze usage and to improve and develop the Service.
Legal bases (EEA/UK users): performance of our contract with you; our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service; your consent (for example, for optional marketing, and where required for sensitive data); and compliance with legal obligations.
To compose a written reading, we send the relevant details you provide and the computed figures to our AI provider, Anthropic, which returns the text. Under our agreement with them, this data is processed only to generate your output and is not used to train their models. Charts and figures are computed on your device or on our servers and do not require sharing your data with advertisers. Separately, we do not use your identifiable details to train AI models, though we may use de-identified, aggregated information derived from readings to improve the quality and reliability of the Service.
We share personal information only with:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising or with data brokers or advertising networks.
We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site and keep you signed in, and privacy-respecting analytics (Plausible) that do not track you across other websites or build advertising profiles. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or ad-network tags.
Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid request to opt out of any “sale” or “sharing” — though we do neither. Because browser "Do Not Track" signals are not standardized, we do not currently respond to DNT signals.
We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Account and Reading Data are retained while your account is active and for 12 months after you close it; purchase records are retained as required by tax law. You may delete your account and Reading Data at any time (see Section 9).
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures — such as encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers — to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict your personal information, to opt out of the sale/sharing of personal information or targeted advertising (we do none of these), and to withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email privacy@foretold.studio or use your account settings. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights, and we will verify requests as required by law. You may use an authorized agent.
You may request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we collected, request deletion or correction, and opt out of "sale"/"sharing" and limit the use of sensitive personal information — though we do not sell or share personal information and use sensitive information only to provide the Service. You may submit a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, which we honor, and we will not require you to verify your identity to exercise an opt-out.
(e.g., Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Utah, Oregon, and others.) You have similar rights to access, correct, delete, port, and opt out; contact us to exercise them. If we deny your request, you may appeal by emailing privacy@foretold.studio with “Appeal” in the subject line, and we will respond within the time your state’s law requires (generally within 45–60 days) and explain our decision.
You have the rights listed above and may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
Because of what Foretold does, some of the details you provide — your birth date, time, and place, and information that may reveal beliefs, relationships, or similar matters — may be treated as sensitive personal information under certain laws. We use it only to provide the Service (to compute your chart or figures and compose your reading). We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you, for advertising, or for any purpose beyond providing the Service and the limited business purposes permitted by law.
We operate in the United States, and your information will be processed there and in other countries where our providers operate, which may have different data-protection laws. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for international transfers, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the relevant authorities.
The Service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us at privacy@foretold.studio and we will delete it.
The Service may link to third-party sites (for example, a payment page). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, not this one.
We may update this Policy. If changes are material, we will provide notice (for example, by posting a new "Last updated" date or by email). Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
