Week of October 12–16, 2026. One reading a day, Monday to Friday.
Aug 23 – Sep 22
A task on your list feels huge, but only because you haven't broken it into steps yet. Mercury, your ruler, sharpens your focus the moment you write things down, while Libra season has you waiting for the perfect time to begin. Leave the task undefined and it keeps feeling worse than it is. Write out the steps this morning and start the first one.
You spotted a mistake in a shared file last week, and no one else has caught it. Mercury, your ruler, notices the detail that's off, while the Libra season you're in makes you reluctant to point out someone else's error. Stay quiet and the mistake ships to everyone who sees it. Fix it today and send a short, friendly note so the right person knows.
You're still polishing something that was good enough two drafts ago. Mercury, your ruler, sharpens details, but midweek he mistakes fussing for real progress, while Libra season whispers it could be a little more perfect. Keep tweaking and you burn hours for almost nothing. Call it finished today and move to the next thing on your list.
Two things need fixing today: one's a real problem, one's only cosmetic. Mercury, your ruler, can tell the difference, and it's worth a whole afternoon, while Libra season wants everything neat with nothing left rough. Chase the cosmetic one and you run out of time for the one that counts. Fix the real problem first and leave the pretty fix for never.
One item on your list keeps getting rewritten instead of done; by Friday it's less a chore than a signal. Mercury, your ruler, can see you're avoiding it, while Libra season says do it well, then actually rest. Carry it into the weekend and it nags at you the whole time. Do that task first thing today, then stop for the week.
